On Earth

With more launches happening now than ever before, now is the time to witness a rocket launch from Florida’s Space Coast. Rocket launches are a unique and spectacular sight: booming from the tip of Cape Canaveral as it rumbles into the cosmos above. It’s an exhilarating experience that you’ll never forget.

Centrally located 45 minutes east of Orlando, the Space Coast is America’s gateway to space and home to Kennedy Space Center. As you discover what makes up Florida’s Space Coast, you’ll learn that is so much more than the place for space. It’s a place where sandy beaches meet world-famous surfing and oceanfront happy hours; where nature provides a landscape to enjoy idyllic temperatures and it’s where cruise ships, natural wonders and rocket launches delight year-round.
